Overall, I love working with everything WorkMax Time offers. our ability to track clock in locations have been crucial to making sure employees are using the correct job numbers. We have also benefited tremendously from the clock in photos. This has eliminated the issue of employees clocking in their friend when they are late or miss a day of work. As the employee who process time, I have been most thankful for the speed and efficiency I can complete our payroll with weekly.

The time capture with facial recognition and geo fence. This has helped with with our job site and time management. The usability of the forms is amazing. Being able to create and edit them has been a huge asset to us. Not being able to customize or build reports is a bit of a bummer, because having to request or suggest changes is easy to do, having to wait for them to be implemented is hard. Overall, WorkMax is an easy to use and train other's to use. The help we get when we run into issues, is awesome (Thanks to Hollie - she really is the best!). The developers (shout out to Eric) have been very attentive to issues we have and suggestions we make!

WorkMax has been a life saver for our company. We use the "Time Sheets" portion of the payroll reporting that allows our foremen to input time for their crew each day. It integrates flawlessly with our construction accounting software (Sage 100 Contractor). Customer support has been phenomenal and the software engineers are close by if the support team needs additional answers. While there is no program that will ever cover 100% of a company's needs, as each one will have their own unique processes, WorkMax comes as close as we've ever found.

“Excellent Program For Employee Time Management”

Overall: Overall this piece of software has streamlined employee time management at our facility by eliminating manual entry. It has also provided live labor hours tracking on daily basis per project which helps in labor hour forecasting and optimization.

Pros: Application is very user friendly and easy to setup upfront. Reports are accurate and quick to export. Flexibility in subscription is value added feature.

Cons: Processing of time during batching and syncing between device to server can be improved.

We changed from About Time to Workmax and the switch went very smoothly. We decided to switch because we needed cloud base software and Workmax is there cloud based product. The interface is really easy to use and it integrates with our Quick Books software. We also run payroll through Quick Books and keeping track of the time keeping on Workmax when our employees are out on the field is great. All they have to do is download the app and clock in/out and the specified work projects come up. We are really satisfied with Workmax and will be using them for years to come.

When we started using Workmax over 2 years ago it was the usual adjustment to get to know the software and teach the employees to use it for clocking in/out on the job site. We loved having the GPS and the facial recognition so we could see exactly where our employees were while clocking in/out and the facial recognition software worked well. Since we have many different size jobs and different employees at different jobs I have had them download it onto their phones and that has worked out very well. We are able to keep track of everyone and their hours and pay them for every minute they have worked.
We were on a very large job and we had 90 employees on that site and someone had to spend most of the day trying to get all the guys hours, etc. They were signing in on a sheet of paper and sometimes you couldn't read the handwriting, etc. and we would spend a great deal of time figuring out everyone's hours. Once we implemented Workmax it figured out lunch for us and would round out the hours.

Work max has been great. it was been easy to set up for all of our employees and easy to run in to our payroll program.
I would like a better opportunity to restrict codes that are no longer needed but otherwise we are very happy.
