I have been using Rain Retail in for many years now. I have worked in two different yarn shops that have, or are currently using their software and have been the person in charge of maintaining the POS and website. In general I have found the Rain web framework to be easy to use and update. They are constantly improving their system and adding new features. Their customer service is excellent. With few exceptions I have been able to contact a service rep by phone and receive help with an immediate issue. They have also addressed email requests in a timely manner for help with problems or suggestions for feature additions.

RAIN has been my POS for a little over a year. Whenever I have a question, they are always helpful and do everything they can to answer it. The system itself is fairly easy to use, and it is nice to be able to run the store system, website, and newsletter list all in one place.

Rain retail has been great for my business! Inventory system with real time website and in-store inventory tracking is a necessity for me. Customer service is available, friendly, and helpful. I had the great fortune of working with Rodney Roberts as our jewelry store transitioned from a discontinued software program to Jewel360.

Throughout the process Rodney was extremely knowledgeable, patient and kind in helping me get our new system up and running. He was more than happy to answer my many, many questions and made himself readily available anytime I needed him.

Rain Retail is truly lucky to have Rodney working on their team as he is certainly a great asset to both the company and all of it's clients! I wish him lots of success as he continues his career at Rain and have no doubt that he will continue making both the company and it's clients happy!!

These types of reviews weigh on me heavy. Out of pure frustration I feel the need! The customer service reps seem to try very hard. when I call they are friendly and say the right things to set my mind at ease. The last two weeks of problems is the third issue I have had since starting with rain a year ago. A small business with only 2 part time employees I am basically a one man shop. When I started with rain I thought I was gaining a partner in helping me succeed! That has not been the case. I did not complete the setup in the 90 day period after starting. I am very busy and that is my fault. As we have been operating this year there have been several issues. I always confirm if it was a mistake on my end (as I am not very tech savvy, a large part of why I thought rain was a wise decision). All three issues where not on my end. I have to spend lots of time on the phone trying to correct. This is time I am not operating business. Had an issue in December that was resolved but again, no follow up to explain resolution or get my input. I had to find that out on my own. The current issue of not receiving any of my payments has been going on for over a week! Again customer service seems to try. I have requested to escalated up for more accurate help. That can not be achieved! It definitely does not feel very important to anyone upline from customer service. No other contacts given, asked for other numbers, asked what else can I do on my end. Very frustrating as I was gaining momentum with rain. Spent a lot of money this year telling myself in the big picture it will be worth it. Regrettably, I have had to set another session to close my rain account. Which is causing a huge amount of wasted time and money to start all over with another company! I typed this 7 hours prior to posting and still no resolution!

The RainPOS software package works really well for us, as we are picture framers and their software caters to specialty shops. Their tech support people really know their stuff too. They sent us a new credit card terminal from Stripe to replace one from Verifone that was about to be decommissioned by them and the tech support lady was very patient with me as we hooked it up and checked all the boxes on their POS software to make it functional. I am most grateful.
