I was on vacation, visiting San Antonio, and dropped by this game shop. They have something for everyone, whether you're a ttrpg player, board gamer, into TCG, or into minature wargames. I even had a specific request for solo board games and both staff and customers had multiple recommendations for me, such as Box One which I completed and really enjoyed! Absolutely fantastic place and I will return if I come by San Antonio again.

Fantastic place to chill with like-minded table top gamers. Come as you are, be who you wanna be, and not feel judged. A requirement they ask of their patrons is that they are physically clean so as not to offend the olfactory senses of the other patrons who want to enjoy their time without the need for upchucking or feeling nauseated from the lack of personal hygiene on the part of the offender. All I can say is this is the best place I've ever played magic. I've been all over the USA and nothing compares to this. The owner is great and always ready to answer questions. Best part is the kid friendliness and no profanity allowed. Great place to bring family and make friends.

These guys are good people and host an amazing spot, this is just an anecdote of a recent negative experience.

I called inquiring whether they had the board game "Wingspan" in stock. The young voice that met my call quickly answered "No", obviously not checking, and then hung up the line.

No big deal, I went to visit the shop later that night to browse the games available for Black Friday and, as you could guess, saw Wingspan available on the shelf. I purchased the game along with a couple other items and left the store.

I know the atmosphere is friendly and laid-back, but you should respect the customers enough to actually give the inquiry a look, rather than rushing back to the board game (I presume) they were playing. Really great place ran by great people, hope this is just a one-off rather than the norm.

I am from Utah but I visit San Antonio often. While in town I visit this store and each time I am greeted warmly as though I am an old friend. Toby, Abe, and company are always kind and helpful. This last trip I bought a new game and insert and the price and quality were amazing. Thank you, Toby and company, for the great service. I always feel at home when I come to the store.

Great selection of games, many different events held here from MTG to board game fun. Extensive board game collection to play in-store or rent to play at home. Owners are great! Extremely helpful . Oh and they have many 3-D printers to use as well.

I haven't played here before but I called the store with an unique and urgent need. The owner said he could help me out and he did! He saved a game night of 8 people from not happening. When I showed up at the store it was super busy and he and his staff still made time to help me with my request. He could have up charged me greatly which most shops would do for this type of thing but nope, $20 which was more than fair. Crazy that I have never talked to any of these people and they were willing to bend over backwards to help a new customer out. This is how you do a business. I will always recommend this shop to anyone I can going forward, event though I don't play magic in stores myself. I owe him some good scotch and a cigar sometime if that's his thing. SKOL

Really great boardgame store. Clean and probably the best stocked in a variety of boardgames here in San Antonio. They definitely care about their products and the atmosphere. I've recently been thinking about moving into physical TCGs (I play all digital ones) and was surprised they had a new one I played a few weeks ago, Altered. Nobody carries this TCG because it's so new but they did. I'll have to return.
