Our experience with Filevine started off a bit rough due to challenges with our implementation partner, but once we were assigned two fantastic reps—especially Danielle—everything turned around. Danielle has been incredibly responsive, ensuring our questions are answered promptly and thoroughly. The AI features have also been a valuable addition—not perfect, but continuously improving, with the team quick to adapt to our needs. Overall, the support we've received has made a huge difference, and we're now having a much smoother experience with Filevine!

I had a whole lengthy review of why I do not like this company and how they never provided a working platform and refused to cancel our contact before it ended. (my fault for not trusting the feeling i got when I signed up). We are not a law firm but were told that they could accommodate and provide platform that worked for what we needed.

Just be careful as they do not offer DEMO (red Flag) and require a yearly contract. You also have to use "partner company" to do buildout and migration as the company does not assist with this part of setup. Adds significant amount of $$$$ upfront. We were never provided a working platform and would recommend ANY of the other competitors, even though this system APPEARED to be pretty good.

Promises unfulfilled and money wasted. After nearly a year with Filevine, we're still paying for our previous case management system because Filevine’s immigration features are practically unusable. The forms feature lacks basic functionality that any modern software should have. Their “AI” document intake constantly crashes. Customer support is non-existent once they have your money. Save yourself the headache and look elsewhere. Wish I had read the other negative reviews before jumping on this.

Doing business with Filevine and Lead Docket was a nightmare. They promised to integrate Lead Docket with my case management system, Neos, but they never did. It's been five months since I signed the contract, and all I get is excuses after weeks of unanswered voice messages and emails. The customer service department is missing in action. I would avoid doing any work with this company.

Do not trust their kind response to my review. They admitted that they did not deliver on this contract for over 6 months. They failed to perform their obligations under the contract, so nothing less than a canceled contract and a refund will be acceptable. It is not my problem that you were not prepared to do the integration with Neos that you promised to complete. Again, I do not recommend this company in light of their breach of contract and refusal to reach an amicable resolution.

It's been two weeks since you responded to this review promising to resolve this issue. I continue to wait with no calls or emails. Filevine is a very disappointing company that refuses to resolve this issue.

Great company. I've used them over the years at different law firms. They are very scalable, so they are suitable for small/medium firms who want to be big someday - its always best to start off with the right software and scale up. They were also willing to work with us during the hard times when we needed adjustments along the way.

Building a company is hard. Filevine's adoption of AI, technology, and their growth in the legal space is a testament to the speed at which they operate at. While certain "kinks" sometimes need to get worked out, they eventually do, and all benefit from it. I'm looking forward to seeing what Filevine innovates with in the future!

This software was sold to me telling me that it would function properly for both Personal Injury and Criminal Defense. It let me enter two separate bank accounts but will not let me see a total balance in an account, nor can I run a report that differentiates between the two accounts. I cannot run batch bills with a work up through date only. I was told it would replace DropBox and Adobe which it does not. You still have to edit the documents in the outside software and then upload it back to FileVine. The list goes on and on about things they sold me on that do not function. Additionally, I was told that there would be someone to migrate our data over and that was a lie and I had to do it myself, as well as implementation. There is very little help, there is only Zoom sessions to teach you different things in a general manner. They do not help you individually. This software is a HUGE disappointment for both Criminal and Personal Injury. It is nearly impossible to get someone on the phone and if you do a support session it is limited to 10 minutes and you have to wait at least 10 minutes before someone is there to help you.
