Beautiful upscale location with wonderful accommodations. As well as courteous staff. The restaurant staff were at a very casual pace, but the food and wine were delicious. The tv channels weren't working so that and the slower paced restaurant staff are the only reason I am not giving 5 stars. Highly recommend, and we will return, hoping for all 5 stars next visit.

Best ever. Beautiful hotel and setting. Staff is great, food good. But king crab is so expensive in Alaska, $99/lb!

It was the cleanliness that we struggled with. The grout was disgusting, the bathtub is one that if you have parents that are not sure footed? It’s rounded and slippery inside. Their offering of remedy is a sketch bath mat. A grungy shower curtain, and a toilet that kept dripping all over the floor making it annoying in the middle of the night having to turn on a light and fully waking you up. The housekeepers can o ly do what they can do working with old and tired tubs and toilets so they are not to blame. The bed sheets were nice and clean. The view is great. The one bar of soap…annoying. For $300 a night place one in the tub and one above the sink.

Very cool place to visit. Pizza restaurant is awesome. Regular dining room just ok. Hotel staff is very nice. The place is clean and you can walk to Creek Street. The team was not working when we were there. But as we were leaving it looked like they fixed it.

Came in for lunch after walking through the rain exploring all the town had to offer. The views from the dining room are amazing and overlook town. Worth the hike up the trail to get there!!!

SO thrilled we stayed in Cape Fox Lodge during our week-stay in Ketchikan! Couldn't have had a better experience. This lodge is up on a hill overlooking the main shopping streets and shoreline, giving breathtaking views from every possible window. Each morning, we got to open the curtains and see a new cruise ship roll in, while wild bald eagles graced the nearby treetops. With 10 of us in our party, we had multiple rooms across the lodge, and everyone had an equally good view from their room, regardless of floor level or which part of the building they were in.

Every single staff member we saw and talked with were genuinely kind and friendly people.  They were more than accomadating for the several handicapped members in our group, and someone was always available at the front desk (with a smile) whenever we needed something.

The rooms themselves were clean and comfortable, and it's evident that some nice rennovating and updating has been done. Our group really enjoyed using the lobby as our main meeting place each day, as they had a fantastic seating area with large, comfy couches overlooking the ocean view. It was fun seeing all of the native Ketchikan culture displayed throughout the lodge too, and it really made us feel like we were staying in a unique, Alaskan resort.

Both of the restaurants here—Heen Kahidi Dining and The Eagle's Nest—offered some of the best food we had during the whole trip! They're absolutely worth visiting, even if you dont stay here at the lodge, as both restaurants are open to the public.

All in all, we couldn't have asked for a nicer stay in Ketchikan, and you'll be hard-pressed to find lodging with better views of this town anywhere else!

I attend the lodge for a special event. I greatly appreciate the staff and the cooks. The food was wonderful, and the location of the lodge was challenging ?, but overall, it was a fabulous trip. Thank you once again.

Good service, good beer. Delightful view of the harbor through the pine trees. With the funicular not working, I had a nice hike up and down to the lodge.
