Professional, knowledgable, responsive, and incredibly helpful! I had an unfavorable experience with a different surveyor in Ellijay so I called Chastain to complete work that the first company could not/would not do. Not only did Chastain complete my survey prior to the estimated timeline, but all communication with them has been quick and so much more helpful than the previous company. They(specifically Darryl Whitworth) also went above and beyond with advice and research for my property issues and was able to answer or find the answer to questions for me that no one else was able to. In addition to Darryl, the rest of the staff that I have dealt with has been great as well! I have worked with them twice in recent months and never have I had to wait for a call or email when I reach out.

I recently worked with Chastain & Associates PC for staking out my driveway and house placement. Two men spent 5 hours and accomplished nothing with the exception of placing a a ribbon on the only "existing " pin that was in place beside the driveway. They told my wife that they could not find the other pins and would have to make a second trip. They also stated that they did not have enough information to do the variance drawing.

I then get a call from your company asking if I wanted to proceed and that you had everything you need to do so. A complete waste as I got nothing that I asked for except a partial bill for NOTHING. $770.00 later!

Your company is a huge disappointment and I would never recommend your services. I waited 4 months for you to do this project and got absolutely nothing for my money! Disappointed to say the least!

My husband and I purchased land for our dream home and encountered just about every kind of problem you could think of...until we worked with Darryl Whitworth and Mark Chastain. These guys stepped in and handled a job for us that ended up with us not needing a second survey which took money from their own pocket. Where do you find this kind of integrity in this present time?!!!! I will highly recommend Chastain Surveying to everyone needing survey work. I can't begin to say how thankful we are for their help.

I am a Realtor and my clients had a time limit that they needed to merge
4 lots together before the end of the year in order to reduce the HOA fee for the future. Chastain & Assoc. did an amazing job and got the work completed quickly and we got the survey we needed to save my buyers lots of money $$$$. The weather was rainy, cold and we had snow - but these guys completed the work for us. I am so impressed and they were a pleasure to work with. They understood our situation and did the best they could to help us. They gave me updates throughout the process without my having to request it. I will use them for all of my surveys in the future where ever possible. Very happy clients!

We had a question in regard to a US Forestry Service boundary line another local survey company could not answer. Chastain & Associates was able to explain clearly the US corner monuments because of their experience in North GA with government properties. Highly recommend.
