I have been bringing my pets to them for years and have the most lovely staff. I moved to the country and now have 3 over 60 lb dogs and four cats, so I use a mobile vet for vaccines etc. To shorten the story, I was refused a simple fecal test on my dogs today because we are no longer their vet. Mind you I have had at least 10 dogs and cats neutered/spayed with them. BYE

Dr. Navarro and her helper was wonderful and so caring and very informative about my boxer when it came time to have him put down. Also we took our other bulldog to her the next day for a routine check up and they did amazing with her. She will be our fur babies doctor from her on out!

I am leaving a star for the doctor because she is wonderful, but all her staff, all of them that i interacted with, not just one, are rude, apathetic, lack customer service skills, and should seek new jobs if they hate theirs so much. My dog was literally dying while being held for evaluation here, and I tried to come be with my dog in the last moments, and the staff said no because they were closed for lunch. The way they said that they were closed for lunch was a way like they just did not care my dog was dying. I would have just sat there and been with my dog, not disturbing staff. My dog died during their lunch, alone in a cage. All my other visits to the clinic I experienced rude staff over and over and eventually I decided I was done and moved my business to a much better practice. EDIT: as a response to the owner's response, the incident occurred a long time ago which is why no staff remember it. I went through a few vets to find a primary one I have been extremely satisfied with for other dogs and decided to post my review finally after processing other clinics. I was not referred to emergency and my dog did indeed die while closed for lunch at this exact location formerly called Elberton Animal Hospital. I find no need to contact directly because nothing can remediate for this incident.

We just moved to Elberton and were in need of some medicine for our boy. The girls in the office and the vet were very helpful to our situation. They followed up the next day with a call to see how he was doing. Made us feel very welcome. I would highly recommend them.

Great staff, friendly and compassionate. I adopted a puppy that required a medical evaluation in order to travel. Walked in and they worked us in. If I loved in that area, they'd be my pet care provider without a doubt.

Not necessarily knocking this clinic but all clinics that don't take payment plans like Dr Phillips did. No more money, take your pet home to die. And a Hospitalized dog with kidney failure is expensive. We took Tucker for 4 days and around $850. We just got back from the beach and funds were low. We did save by bringing him home every night . All we were asking for was a week extension So he lived another 3 days with us giving fluids. You could almost feel his pain. Then he started having two or three seizures a day. Today on my lunch break I went home to feed Tucker and let him out to the potty and as soon as I picked him up he had a seizure. I rubbed him and blew in his face and brought the little fellow back but immediately had another seizure which would be his last. He didn't survive back to back. I understand that was the chance we took but no choice. How can a vet have a real passion for animals just to send them home to die. Today's work ethics even in Doctors really suck!
