I have had this service for over 7 years, if you are like me and have no other option except for a Hughes Net, then it beats dial up or a data cap that hit in 2 hours. If you decide to use them be sure to get the insurance or warranty as the receiver will go out and costs much money. I was told about $800 dollars that was 6 or 7 years ago so I am sure that has changed. I live less than 2 miles from their tower and was told I could only get the 1 Meg service, it has changed to 2 meg now. Would really love to have the 5 meg service as only one computer at a time can download or stream without constant buffering. If I had another option I would think long and hard about using it. If you could get a trial for a few days, I would definitely need one before signing a two year contract. The service is okay as long as it works, once the tower near me was struck by lightning and was out for months. In all that time they never offered a refund or stopped billing me and my neighbors. Not the best but it is miles ahead of Hughes net.

When we first got SGRITA internet we were receiving a great streaming band 1.0-2.0. Now we can’t even get on or it drops us frequently. I have had to change the main unit twice because it just quit. Right now the last unit I got the internet speeds have dropped and are frequently unavailable. I called tech support and they were very helpful and friendly but it has been slowing down or dropping over the last few weeks and now we have no connection at all. I’ll be calling tech support again when they open and try to get it fixed. To exchange the unit I have to drive over 35 miles each way. I am getting frustrated and since they lock you in to a 2 year contract I don’t have many options. If you leave their service before the two years you must pay remaining monthly fees. The up front cost was over $200 for their unit and then I had to buy a router about $200. It’s a big investment and if it worked better it would be worth it. I would not recommend changing to SGRITA. After my contract is up I’ll be looking for other options.

I have been with this company for years now. It has been a nightmare since we have had it. I have been a very loyal customer. We don’t didn’t use it much in the past, so it wasn’t as noticeable as I have to use it on a daily basis now. It sucks!! There are other companies that offer way more than 2m for the same price. Matter of fact I have not even seen one that starts out with a 2m package, they start at a 5m. I have been without service for 6 days and can not get them on the phone. It will not ring. Stick a fork in me because I’m done!!! I really hate this little company can’t do any better, I love supporting small businesses. So sad!!!

Just get an unlimited data cellular plan. Trees and hills will block signal, since most of their towers are alot lower the cell phone towers. Tech support not great: reboot, reinsert sim, pointed toward tower. Oh, the biggest buy the warranty, the unit will burn out.

From SGRITA:

"Thank you for your interest in SGRITA. Due to the overwhelming success we've experienced in our on-boarding efforts in your area, we are unable to add anymore customers at this time without affecting the service of our current customers. We have your information in our system as a lead and when new service becomes available again, a representative will contact you and let you know. "

My Thoughts:

If you can't cover the Wileytown area (8 Houses) on Cedar Springs Rd. then you cant cover much at all.
