Just had a pretty bad experience with them. I was promised I would get paid $200 for going through the screening process for a study with more to come if I was accepted. Well, I didn't make the cut due to a certain health issue which was not pleasant but well, it happens so whatever. Just before leaving the back rooms where they hold their evaluations, I was specifically told that I would make $200

Well, I checked the balance on the pay card they gave me and I got paid $125. I called 4 times to speak with someone about this issue. I never got a callback. I first got a couple emails that were screenshots saying that yes I was paid $125. No explanations, just a picture of what I knew had taken place. After another call or two, I got an email that said basically well, you were told you would get paid less than that since "screen fails" get paid less.

Sigh, no I was Never told that. That is Not what happened. I'm not the type of person who would try to lie in order to steal.

So they didn't give me the amount they specifically repeatedly said I would get, and they refused to call me back to even ask me about the issue. I managed people in customer service for years and I never let people use emails for such a reason. Customers with issues need and frankly deserve phone calls. Not calling is bad service and in this case, was a very demeaning part of the experience.

(They did add about another $6ish dollars to the card for travel reimbursement which was like, umm, I do appreciate that and it's nice it was done and everything, but ...sigh, in the end, even that didn't go down well)

Use to be a good place to make a little extra cash and help out others too. Now they have you sign paperwork saying your going to make this amount of money for your study then call tou and tell you they are going to cut you out on multiple payments. You talk to management and the woman was very friendly or helpful honestly she was cold and the beat way to describe her is she was more worried about the companies bottom line and the company making money over people trying to help medical research i guess our time isnt vauled as much as her!!!! Be smart go somewhere else to help with research cause this woman told me come in and opt out of the study and we will pay you and of course that was just another lie told by AMR!!!!
