I would not recommend wasting your time by working for APN as a contractor. They found my resume and reached out to me with an opportunity for a long term contract. I agreed to have them submit me for the document compliance and admin. position and their client offered me the assignment after review of my resume. I spent time completing extensive background check paperwork and doing a 10 panel drug acreen which took a 2 weeks. Upon finally getting a start date, I was informed I'd need special shoes and I agreed to purchase them. I arrived onsite to client and was shuffled off to sit with the front desk girl who expressed her displeasure at my being there because they never informed her she would be sort of training me. I watched and took notes, listened, and just tried to stay out of the way. At the end of the 1st day I was very excited and knew I could contribute to their goals of increased compliance through process improvement. I returned the 2nd day, and my trainer was visibly annoyed with urgent issues that required her assistance. I just reviewed my notes and organized my questions from the vast amount of information from the prior day. I assumed the manager would surely want to get feedback from me, but I never saw him the 2nd day. The trainer became overly angry and annoyed with any question I asked when I was attempting to complete a task on my own of which I had only seen partially done the 1st day. The day continued with more and more unprofessional and honestly, highly confusing behavior by the trainer. I made myself reference notes to continue the following day, but APN emailed me saying my assignment was as ended. They gave me no reason or feedback at all. They didn't even care about my experience at the client site and had no regard for my experience as a contractor. Despite having wasted my time to get started, APN didn't even offer to try and find me another assignment. I can report their level of service to contractors is non-existent and they clearly have no real working relationships with clients or they would have spoken to them about what caused them to waste a very qualified professional's time. I used to manage contractors for a national firm and our commitment to our contractors and their careers was truly amazing. APN has a lot to learn. Don't waste your education, experience, skills or time trusting them.

They ask for your paystubs when they offer to hire. There's a few reasons companies do this. Negotiate your pay and low ball, you've been underpaid your whole career and they want to continue doing that, they don't believe you make what you say or they don't know what a person in your position should make.

Either way, they're unprofessional for even asking for it and secondly, the representative gets upsets and tries to argue with you when you decline to share that info or decline their offer completely. Seems sketchy and shady.

Trust your gut. You're worth what you're asking for. Companies need you, not the other way around.

Edit: I've had to block their number because the unstable rep continues to call, for what? I declined the offer, im not comfortable with what they want. He is now trying to harass me by repeatedly calling. Don't believe what they say.

Been working as a contractor for a major well know IT company since January 2017 and still continue to do so. I have had nothing but positive interactions with my contact at APN. They made the interviewing process and on-boarding very easy, there was a minor set back in the beginning but it was taken care of. Benefits are offered, health, and 401K, dental is not available at the time. I continue to have ease of communication with this group and its a pleasure to continue working my contract for them.

Paid for their advertising service to voice search our business through mutilate providers. Was lied to with a time frame for activation, then once all these different dates of activation came and went and still unable to find my company on any voice search. Called for a refund and they say the will put in a ticket to have me called back and refund handled, never happens.

Don't give them your last four of your SSN, DOB, home address, legal name, the phone number that you use for multi-factor authentication or the e-mail address that you use for online banking. A sophisticated identity theft operation.

I was contacted by 4 different recruiters for the same job within 10 mins. They call multiple times but do not leave a voicemail. I don’t answer calls from numbers I don’t know so if they don’t leave a voicemail I just assume it’s spam. Then they all email me about a position they need to fill urgently. I respond to the email telling them that I am not interested in the job and they never respond. That’s is extremely unprofessional since they annoying the living crud out of you trying to get ahold of you then when you tell them your aren’t interested they disappear. Sachin is the worst becuase he called me about 6-8 times in total, at one point he called 3 times back to back. I almost picked up and told him off but then he would have achieved his goal of getting me to answer. Anyway, do not go with this company for your staffing or employment needs, even if they offer your dream job.
