Was there yesterday for my driving test. When entered it was pretty crowded but things went very smoothly and quick after check-in. Thanks to supervisor Ms. Shahada (probably misspelling, sorry) for very quickly handling our document work and Ms. Michele for examining my driving. Appreciated their help and smiling faces.

I visited here to get my state ID. Taking the appointment is the trickiest part as the next available appointment is generally 5 months away. The trick is to try scheduling online at 7:35 AM in the morning. That is when a few slots for the same day are opened up.

One appointment is for one individual only. If you visit as a group or a family, everyone must have individual appointments.

After reaching here, use the link given in SMS to generate a token. While I waited for the token to be called out on speaker and a couple of big screens put up there, I got my documents and the form verified at the Info desk. They were very helpful in reviewing the form. Don't worry about making unintentional mistakes. They will not make you fill a new form for corrections.

Once my token was called, I visited the counter behind the wall. The officer there verified my docs and the form. It is important that the original supporting documents are presented in order. There is an option to send them by email as well. Signature at the back of the form has to be done at the counter in front of the officer. Finger prints were recorded. I was asked to sign on a digital device. Then, she clicked my picture. Finally, she asked me to make payment which I did by my credit card. If I heard correctly, they accept cash and cheques also.

All this took about 10 minutes at the counter. Finally she returned all my documents after scanning them. Also, gave me a receipt of the payment. A temporary ID card was issued printed on paper. It can be used till the actual card arrives at my mailing address in about 7 business days.

Horrible. I arrived at 12:50 for a 1:20 appointment. It's 1:45. There is no sequence of rationale for their numbering system. For example, I'm A102. They have served numbers as high as A117 and as low as A0094. I have watched folks walk in, take a ticket and are immediately called to a window. This was an unfortunate experience. It must be customary to make permit-drivers HATE the DMV instantly. Start them young at 15 yrs.

We arrived and didn’t not had to wait to long, however, when they called our number to window 6 someone was already there. Then I asked the person on Window 3 who had no one waiting and she was so rude and sent us to window 1. Now the lady on window #1 her name is Tia was super nice and helpful, shout out to her!! Thank you Tia!

Seeing a lot of the horrible reviews makes me feel that I am not alone, I booked an appointment to swap my Canadian DL to an American one. I gather all the documents but 2 hard copies of the proof of address, which are not explicitly listed on their website. So I have to re-book an appointment me.

Terrible, unknowledgeable and very rude. I had an appointment and all documents that were required. The lady said that I could not use my birth certificate because it wasn't clear. Then she said she needed the original. You don't get originals of birth certificate. Being a veteran I also had my dd214. My passport was being renewed. I have never been treated so rudely. She should be fired

Pretty awful. The document checking guy was really nice at least.

You wait literal months for an appointment and you don't even get seen at your appointment time. Like others have mentioned, random calling of numbers and they clearly don't honor the appointment times at all. They call maybe 4-5 numbers per hour! WTH? It took me several hours to get in/out.

I have never lived anywhere in the country that is by appointment only for every service. I have literally never seen this. I've lived in seven different states. This is by far the worst system I've ever seen.

The wait to renew my DL was longer than expected, but the process was orderly and easy. Staff were very friendly, social distancing and safety measures were being followed. Once I got to the counter it was quick and painless. Make sure to make an appointment online and check in online 30 mins before your appointment.
