Great company. I bought a pair of Encores last year and had them shipped fully assembled to Ireland. Quality of cabinet word was great, sound quality of speakers is amazing.
I had a few subsequent queries and replies from Hobbs and Danny were always prompt and efficient.

I been on the fence about upgrading my speakers so I finally took the plunge. I bought the upgrade for klipsch rp-280f which has same crossover as the rp-8000. After the upgrade, my wife and mother both claim they hear a very noticeable difference and it's much better than before. I didn't even ask just started playing some classic rock and. I am totally happy with the upgrade it's such a clean difference.

Thank you to Danny and the guys at GR research! Keep exposing speaker companies and their cheap parts maybe they'll make some changes for the better.

This company delivers true tested, transparent results that you will never forget! They sale with integrity without any feelings of being sold!! When it has come down to what is real or snake oil in the audio realm, Danny brushes all the questions aside that are immaterial, and shows you;... "see, it is just a bacon burger. Here, this is the cheese" I am somewhat new to the audio world, and know what I know; or what I have been shown to know. With that. Danny shows you the how's and why's.!! And that my friends is a big deal. Danny, must have known what we wanted even before we knew that we knew we needed to ask. This is going to be fun!!

Danny and his crew are full of it! Absolute garbage. You can't "fix" speakers you don't listen to. I repeat he or anyone else never even hears the speakers they attempt to improve. Everything that is wrong with audio. Use your ears!

I sent in my crossover to be mapped so I could upgrade the parts. I delt with Hobbs, he was extremely helpful in explaining everything and giving me advice on my first diy speaker project. Customer service is top notch and my items were shipped when promised. I love the improvements to my speakers. I highly recommend GR Research and will purchasing from them again now that I realize how easy diy can be.

I learned of G-R research from Ron @ New Record Day from YouTube. He shared a video named "the best speakers you'll never hear". I was very intrigued so I watched the videos that Ron posted about his and NX-oticas. He went on and on about how those speakers were on par with any speaker ever made @ any price. I have to admit I wasn't very impressed with Danny's presentation at first. It seems he shot his videos in a converted garage with some two-by-four and particle board shelving. After watching several dozen of his in Ron's videos about the products he has, I was enlightened enough to order a set of his B-24 speaker cables. They took me a while to build as I was new to the DIY stuff. Those cables woke my speakers up. Even though they were inexpensive SVS Prime Pinnacle towers and then made them sing like never before. After experiencing the results of his products first-hand I decided to dig deeper into what he has to offer. Here I am about nine months later with my completed set up NX-oticas.
Hearing the one hundred percent completed speakers for the very first time literally changed my expectation level of what audio should be. Danny may not be flashy, but after getting to know him a little bit through several phone calls I've learned that he truly does sell the best quality products and does his best to share those products at the least expensive prices that he can. Hence the No-Frills videos. I believe deep in my heart that Danny truly loves sharing the things he's accomplished. Not for money but for the pleasure of allowing others to enjoy what he has enjoyed. All the while providing goods and services at very reasonable prices.
I've been to the most highly rated Hi-Fi store within 50 miles of my house. They were so excited to show me their $400,000 Wilson audio and McIntosh tube amp setup. After listening, I felt somewhat guilty having to tell them that I wasn't that impressed with their setup. It sounded crystal clear but had no real life to it. It sounded pretty small with a collapsed soundstage. Zero transparency, and I could clearly point to the speakers with my eyes closed. The gentleman who showed me the system outright told me I didn't know what to listen for.. I assured him I did and I invited him over to my house to listen to what his $135,000 speakers should sound like.
If you or even slightly interested in Danny's products I strongly suggest you place the order. Products this good can't stay this cheap forever.
