I just want to point out the best part first—the service was great. Our waiter, Nathan, was very professional and attentive, always checking on us. He consistently refilled our water, which is very important to us. All in all, he was great.

Now, let's get to the food and ambiance. The restaurant was clean but outdated. The food was awful. They cook everything with butter, and even the dipping sauce is just more plain butter. The steak was dry, the lobster was tough to chew, the shrimp was soaked in butter, and the crab was dry.

If you're going to spend money on food, there are far better places than this restaurant. Red Lobster might have been good a few years ago, but it's a dying chain. We only went because we had a gift card to use. I feel bad for people who actually come here for a nice occasion. If you're taking someone out for a special dinner, do a little research in your area—chances are, you'll find other, more affordable restaurants with a modern, contemporary ambiance and far better food.

There wasn't a single ounce of satisfaction in my body after eating their food. Do yourself a favor and go somewhere else.

I always wanted to try that place. The food was really good and fresh. I hoped though for the portion to be bigger but overall it was nice.

The crab legs were so good and I enjoyed the shrimps with butter and garlic so yummy.
The restaurant is spacious and the staff are nice and accommodating.

The cheddar bay biscuit are complimentary which is a nice snack before the food arrives.

The food was great! However, our server, Annie (or Ann, I can’t remember the exact spelling), did not inform us that we had ordered more than what was reasonable for two people. As it was our first time at Red Lobster, we were unfamiliar with the portion sizes and would have appreciated some guidance. While we understand the goal of increasing sales, it felt more like a self-serving approach rather than genuine customer care. This lack of consideration left a negative impression, and unfortunately, we would not recommend this location.

We visited on a Friday evening with a reservation, and it wasn’t too crowded. The atmosphere was comfortable, allowing for a relaxed dining experience. Our server was friendly and attentive, making sure we had everything we needed. The lobster, shrimp, salmon, and crab were all perfectly seasoned, with generous portions, and tasted delicious. We will definitely be coming back!

Red Lobsters are closing everywhere and this is one of the few open in Washington making it a destination road trip, I really like the new menu simplicity. Food was great and good dessert. Well worth the day trip.

TL;DR: Red Lobster at Lynnwood offers a reliable dining experience with classic seafood and American fare. The cheddar bay biscuits are good, though they felt a bit more like bread than biscuits this time. My steak and fries were well-made, and the courteous service added to the experience. A solid choice for a casual meal with friends or family.

Full Review:

Red Lobster at Lynnwood delivers on the promise of a consistent and satisfying dining experience, with its familiar menu of American seafood standards and cozy New England-themed decor. As chain restaurants go, Red Lobster has a solid reputation, and this location offers just what you'd expect—good food, warm service, and a comfortable atmosphere for a casual meal.

One of the mainstays of a Red Lobster visit is the famous cheddar bay biscuits, which are usually a highlight. At this Lynnwood location, however, the biscuits seemed to lean more towards the bread-like side in texture, missing a bit of that classic crumbly, buttery biscuit feel. It may be a small deviation, or perhaps a tweak in the recipe over time, but they still made a nice appetizer to start the meal.

I opted for steak and fries this time around, a break from the seafood to test a broader spectrum of what Red Lobster offers. The steak was nicely cooked to order and had a satisfying char on the outside, with fries that were hot and crispy—a simple yet satisfying combo. Although seafood is the real focus here, it was nice to find that their land-based options don’t disappoint either.

Service was another highlight of the visit. The staff were friendly, attentive, and efficient, making sure we were comfortable and our food arrived promptly. It’s always refreshing to have courteous service that enhances the overall experience, even when dining at a large chain.

In terms of atmosphere, Red Lobster keeps things cozy with its nautical decor and warm lighting, which makes it a comfortable choice for a casual meal with family or friends. It’s not a place you’d expect groundbreaking culinary adventures, but it certainly serves up what it does best—familiar, comforting flavors in a relaxed environment.

Overall, Red Lobster at Lynnwood is a solid choice for anyone looking for a decent, reliable meal in a relaxed setting. While there’s nothing exceptionally unique or standout about the experience, it delivers on expectations and remains a solid option for a pleasant, unhurried meal. A good spot to keep in mind for when you’re in the mood for something familiar, warm, and easygoing.

You know what…for the price and food quality, this establishment does give you a fair experience of the sea. Is it worth saving? I think so…

place is Ok, table was sticky clearly not clean enough, server took his time to even ask us for drinks, while we appreciate some time before drinks, perhaps it was too much. Disappointed of this visit to a place we used to love to have dinner with my family. Server saved the situation though at the end.
