Our company asked to get out of our contract with the Tech Info Group several months ago because of poor and inadequate service. In an unheard of reaction, Tech Info Group refused to let us out of our contract. Why any service provider would force an unhappy client to continue with them is beyond me.

First of all we don't even know who to call at their company because the personnel have changed so many times (high turnover is often a red flag). Second, the responses to our requests have been lackluster to nonexistent. For example we have a large Canon copier that we lease. Most of us haven't been able to use it for months because it can't be found on the network. When we've called Tech Info Group to help, no one comes out to investigate. When we contacted Tech Info Group to troubleshoot a wireless router in one of the houses we were told it was broken and were given an offer to buy a new one. When we went to check ourselves we found that the wireless access point was unplugged. We have had multiple other requests that were treated in a similar manner.

Several of our employees have had the experience of calling Tech Info Group and either receiving no response, or a very delayed one. Most have stopped bothering to call as the customer service is so poor and problems are seldom resolved. And when we tell them that we want to terminate our contract, they respond with threats to take us to collections.

I would avoid this company if you need any true IT help for your company. Dealing with them has been an extremely frustrating experience.

Always reliable and available. They have really increased their customer support since coming under new management. Have been searching for a reliable provider for a long time and am glad I found one for good!
