We had an absolutely amazing experience at the Scandinavian Designs store in Irvine, thanks to Kurtis Brown. From start to finish, Kurtis was polite, professional, and made the entire process so seamless and enjoyable.

His attention to detail and willingness to answer all our questions were truly impressive. He listened carefully to our needs and helped guide us to the perfect pieces for our home, all while ensuring we never felt rushed or pressured. His knowledge of the products and his thoughtful suggestions made the experience stress-free and fun.

We have purchased quite a few furnitures here since we moved in our new condo and were very satisfied overall
Lately we purchased a bed and after 2 months we finally get it delivered last Saturday on 02/01/2025
The delivery service people was very rude and absolutely careless !
I’ve asked them to take off their shoes before entering our bedroom with all carpet on the floor to assemble the bed. They just refused to do so and replied “unfortunately we can not take off our shoes…is it a problem ? “
Having paid for the assembly fees, we had no choice but were constrained to let them get into our bedroom with their very dirty shoes to do their job.
The disastrous result was that after the bed frame was assembled, the carpet of my bedroom looks like a doormat in front of your entrance with black stains everywhere, and surely completely covered of microbes and bacteria brought from wherever those shoes have been walking and stepping on.
We had to rush to Lowe’s to buy 2 cans of Lysol spray for carpet to sanitize our entire bedroom and wait for 2 hours so we can vacuum after it dries out
Unfortunately that might have sanitizing the carpet of my bedroom but the black stains remain there.
Bottom line, the carpet of my bedroom is totally ruined !
Scandinavian Design have nice furnitures and their customers service is very efficient BUT their delivery contractor RCI is a Disaster with no professionalism and inconsiderate employees.
Very disappointing experience !

I would give a zero if I can. I did a custom order in 8/4, it was promised it will be delivered 3-4 months. However, I did not received any call about status of shipment until I call them before Thanksgiving. At that time, it was promised delivery will be December. Just called them, they said the delivery will be in mid January, which is beyond the promised date and sales did admit the delivery date will be beyond the promised date. All these time, I did not received any call about the delayed until I call them. Please don’t buy things from them.

I ordered some patio side tables and wall art for one of my projects in Joshua Tree. Everything went smoothly, was delivered in time and I am super happy with the quality of the things. Can highly recommend to work with them.

Poor customer service experience. None of the salespeople approached me or offered help while I browsed. When I finally had to seek out a salesperson (I think his name was Santos?) to ask about a piece, the conversation went like this:
Me: "Do you have this piece in store?"
Salesperson: checks iPad, "No, we don't have it right now"
Me: "Will you ever restock it?"
Salesperson: "Yes of course"
(....awkward pause....)
Me: "So... when is it going to be?"
Salesperson: "Maybe sometime in early March"
Me: "can I pre-order it?"
Salesperson: "sure"
..but he didn't pull any types of forms to help me "pre-order" it... I waited and waited and decided to just leave the store.

The entire interaction felt like pulling teeth. Basic information about availability had to be specifically asked for instead of being offered proactively. For a furniture store where customers are making significant purchases, this level of disengaged service is disappointing.

Excellent quality and style at a reasonable price. The customer service has been exceptional from purchase to delivery. We are very pleased with the comfort and functionality of our new couch. Our dog has taken over the new furniture!

There are a lot of different options for modern furniture at Scandinavian Designs. We had been looking for a leather couch that would fit our small living room and found the Braxten Loveseat. We have had this couch for about 6 months and so far we love it. Not only is it beautiful, but it is also very comfortable.
