So I bought a VPI prime 21 from Upscale and the process was so easy. Richard was my go to guy for the sales and was so knowledgeable and helpful which made the process so fast and professional. Even when he was gone on vacation he directed me to Bill who was extremely helpful in what was left of the setup after I received the tt. Sean- Paul does all there setups and made the final assembly just perfect. Richard then got back to me after his vacation for a follow up to see if I had any issues or questions. The team at Upscale is very professional, patient, and so knowledgeable that it was a pleasure working with them all. I would recommend this company for any stereo equipment or just to feel them out about gear anyone may be interested in and have questions about.

A hundred stars for Upscale Audio, especially analog specialist, Richard. I had no idea where to start on a system and was overwhelmed by the choices and the process. Richard helped me hone in on beautiful components while being mindful of my budget and the limitations of the space where the system would reside. He’s super knowledgeable, responsive and incredibly patient. Shipping of the speakers and amp was very quick, received the components the following day. The turntable took a little longer because this company actually balanced (I think that’s the term) it for us!

I wanted to join the vinyl revolution but was unsure where to start.

I studied record turntables on YouTube and found the REGA P6 to be an excellent recommended choice.

I researched further where to purchase and discovered Upscale Audio. I spoke to Richard O’Neill, a knowledgeable expert at Upscale Audio who explained the pros and cons of the P6 and other turntables in a vernacular that a novice could understand.

I decided to go with the REGA P8, and Richard steered me in the right direction and recommended a cartridge he has had experience with and owns.

I trusted Richard’s advice and experience, and I’ve been listening to and enjoying records almost nonstop, since yesterday. The P8 delivers exceptional sound quality, with clear highs, warm lows, and base with a punch and just an overall, well-defined sound stage.

I have some music background and noticed that my ears have been focusing on specific instruments and their placement in the sound stage. I know after a day or so I will not focus so much on each instrument but be able to enjoy the music itself. Sure, I’ve had a record player since I was a child and have been listening to CDs for 20 or so years. But I’ve never experienced music like this before and thus far I can say I enjoy listening to this sound medium rather than digital.

When I listen to music from the “big band era” I can picture my father as he would have listened to the same music on his record player, though he never experienced this music on a music system like I now have.

I have the reassurance of knowing that Richard is available to assist me anytime if I have any questions, advice, or should any issue arise.
