Lets start with letting the people know that the labs were going to be for a child. Everyone with a child knows how hard is to wake a kid early and not feed them because they will have blood drawn, yeah what a combination. Before getting to the actual place I did my research and called the place, yeah that called connected to MIAMI (and here am trying to call the one in Tampa and the number IS FROM TAMPA it just connects it to Miami). The woman picks up and I asked her about my insurance and if they take it, she said yes. Then I asked if it was by appointment or walk-ins she said walk-ins, but rapi3puts me on hold and for 5 minutes I stood hearing music for a man speaking in Spanish to answer (I do know how to speak Spanish, I just feel more comfortable speaking English) again I asked him of they took my insurance he told yes and reassured me they did. I asked him if they were located in 2801 west waters ave, he said no and started to give me an address. I realised that this address is not from Tampa and ask him and he replys no am in Miami, I told him I was in Tampa and he placed me on hold. I was in hold for what seemed too long and when he comes back he assme they did take my insurance and that the place was infact at the address I had given him at first. I get to the place and give all my paper work and insurance card to the person at front. She did her procedure and then went to get the phlebotomist, she comes out and tells me to give her some time because she is preparing a box to the airport (again a spanish speaking person who randomlystarts talking to me in spanish). I dont mind but do they have english speaking people besides the receptionist?. 50 min later she comes out and tells me I dont think we take your insurance. Really, 50 min later you want to tell me this? A grouchy child would not understand that now we have to go to another place and wait around 50 min to be taken care. In my opinion they seem very incompetent and irresponsible by telling something to a client and then state the contrary once you get to the place. In my opinion they need more organization and english speaking personal. I would not recommend this place to anyone not even if you try calling ahead to see if they take your i surance, you will find yourself wasting gas and time for people that dont know any correct information about the company. This people need some serious training on what they can do and what they cant, also some serious customer service training (besides the secretary that greets you, she wss very nice, but she left and left me with the phlebotomist). do not go to this place!
