Think Tech Hawaii offers anyone a seat at the table to drive conversation on salient issues, local/national, from a variety of viewpoints, often unheard beyond this state. Such broad-based discussion encourages participation from many sectors like rural, international, indigenous, among others to identify layered issues and generate outcomes to solve complicated problems and unify communities. Importantly, the platform invites broadest participation, which flows directly into local as well as national outlets . i believe Think Tech Hawaii is underused given the promise the platform has to strengthen not only Hawaii’s local voice, but also Hawaii’s capacity to influence and change the quality of national and international dialogue on highly pressing global topics.
