Security guy made my morning, starting my Friday awful!
I’m a truck driver and I checked it at 6:30 am today. He was loud from the beginning and with a very judgmental attitude. I went inside the property waiting in the parking area for truck. After that everything smooth and nice. Spanish speaking people very nice and friendly. They gave me the dock 1 so after loading my container I couldn’t close the doors in that area and turning to the first line of exit was not possible because there was another truck that spotted there. (Notice that he was stopped, not parked) so I could use the other line to stop and close the doors, set the seal, take my pictures and go inside the truck. When I go to the guard area the guy started yelling at me telling me to never ever park in the place I did because I was blocking the entrance . I told him there was no need to yell and I was not blocking anything and made sure the incoming trucks had enough space to pass. He did not listen. He was all into his own yelling issues telling me many times the same and trying to get a response (I perceived ) to get a confrontation. From a smile I use to give to people I went to my bitter face and I just told him with my finger ok … ok sir . The only way I was an hazardous for anybody could be for blind people.

My Grandparents, Art and Pauline Weigum, worked for Chris Columbo, long time owner. Grandma retired to take care of me after my 1961 birth. Grandpa, production supervisor/ maintenance foreman, was there over 40 years, retiring in 1980 to move to Missouri over concern for me. I had a brain tumor back then. It wasn't discovered until 2006, many years after they both were gone. My father even worked there for a time. I still have his paycheck stubs.

The employee reviewed with criticism is a living legend having been there I believe over 60 years. I have many, many stories to tell of no particular interest to anyone.

Grandpa's nickname given by workers was "Art the Turtle" ? as seen from above walking from place to place with tool cart and chest (I still have them and use them with love ?) while wearing a safety helmet.

This place is dear to me.

Poor service, the old lady giving load paperwork is so careless, took over an hour giving paperwork. I hope her boss sees the review and either give her lesson or hire someone who can do a better job. She needs to retire already.

Dont take care of there employees especially anyone in management. You have to buy your own office supplies and office equipment. Chrismas party today during business hours and bring your own food and drinks. No raises or bonuses last year. Hope they come through this year. Ever since Kraft merged with Heinz this company has been ruined. From the top down I am sorry to see such a great company take a noise dive. Customers and employees beware it's going down hill fast

Whenever you are coming onto McHenry Avenue, turn right onto Ullrey Avenue and the first driveway on the right is kraft Heinz.
